Pretty sure he had more money than time to deal with bullshyt

pretty much. tired of dealing with shady sites and torrents. tired of waiting for cracks and patch-cracks. I can always re-download games in my Steam library with a few clicks, instead of wasting mad HDD space on backups of iso's and cracks. it's just an overall much better experience, and the games are pretty cheap if you wait for sales and/or shop around a little (shout out to greenmangaming)

and honestly as I got older, and gained more appreciation for how the world works, I found it harder to rationalize theft

then you have to use the "reset this PC" option

if you try to do a clean install by booting from the usb, it will want you to have a Windows 10 key. and your Windows 7/8 key won't work

I couldnt do a clean install from a usb fyi, had to cop a dvdr. Thanks for the info tho

I spoke too soon on error free. I got an error on a ASUS laptop I own.

Won't even start, not sure what went wrong

Funny enough that was the only PC I had that was "ready" for the update.

Forever once you redeem it and keep the installation.

Just use the "Reset This PC" button as @daze23 mentioned if you ever need to clean things out. I would keep that external hdd handy to clone the drive whenever you might need it.

I actually waited through the process on my ASUS laptop and that's the only installation that has given me problems thus far.
