I actually got this Option shyt to work... Microsoft had an automatic update trouble shooter knocked this shyt right out...

it's designed to only let you upgrade an existing licence. if you want something simpler, you can spend $100 on a Windows 10 key
The funny thing is, some of the Metro apps are good. It's just that I never noticed because nobody ever uses them.
Last night I was playing around with the Cortana button and said "Open Facebook". I expected it to try to open Edge and come up with a Bing link to Facebook. Instead it opened up a Metro Facebook app that I never even knew existed.
After using that for a few minutes, going back to the regular browser version looks a little

Yeah that's one feature that OS X had over Windows until now.
What resolution do you run at? 2560x1440 or higher with the 4 option snap view is GODLY. It's just the right size for how I do things usually. YouTube, Coli, Excel/Word, + some other thing I need to get to later on.

Right now I'm running at 1440P but this is on a 1080P TV. I had to return the monitor as I only bought it for testing. 1440 via AMD VSR gives me that real estate back on the screen but 1440P looked obviously better on a native display. I don't really like 4 snapped apps at the same time. . I like two at a time.
I'm all updated...8.1 all of that...I'm ready for tomorrow but tonight is fight night so I'll be READY to see this play out in due time.
