chrome works fine on my pc and i didn't do a clean install.
whenever i typed a character into the address bar for chrome or firefox it froze
During the upgrade procedure I chose the option to leave Firefox as my default browser. Firefox worked fine, but after using Edge I don't think I'll ever use Firefox again. I'm switching to all Edge (and Chrome on Windows 7).
Does edge have adblock too ?

Just upgraded again and same thing happening. Click in address bar and type one letter and it goes to not responding so I gotta get out with task manager.

Don't know if this is a bug but if Windows 8 start screen was transparent like this people would have less issues with it 
Nope. It's all good man. Even in cortana no keystrokes appear
I just got a bum ass laptop I'll join windows ten gang when I get a new one 
Used Edge for maybe a minute and got popups galore. Haven't seen one of them things in ages. I'm fine with Chrome, no issues yet and everything still synced up to Chrome on my iPhone

Don't know if this is a bug but if Windows 8 start screen was transparent like this people would have less issues with it
tablet mode. not sure how you made it transparent though.
I got it on full screen start like 8. The transparent thing is a graphic bug but I wish it was an option.
