Windows 10 Passes 700 Million Devices

If market saturation and exposure is king then windows 10 has won BIG TIME. Supporting one platform will make MS billions (like gutting their QA dept.), i'm sure they cannot wait for Windows 7-8.1 to be obsolete so they can focus on making/supporting windows 10 builds.
My personal experience, I don't like having to administrate windows 10, seems like MS really doesn't want you to have control over their OS, rather the other way around. Which is fine for consumers, not so much for enterprise.
The amount of telemetry built in to ALL builds of windows 10 is sickening and lord only knows what MS is truly doing with that information...
But with a lot of their services going cloud/azure based, it doesn't leave much for other sectors (education, healthcare, finance) to keep things in-house, giving that much more control and therefore money to MS.
From a purely financial standpoint, windows 10 will be a HUGE success for MSFT. It can be an absolute nightmare to support though.

Yep 10 is trash. But Microsoft is Microsoft so they can rake in these numbers.can't stand windows 10 i want a desktop os not a tablet os.
If I could run all my shyt on XP I'd have a PC just for that. I might grab an XP pc and load it with memory and a nice video card just to run some old games I like.
To me XP was the last great OS they put out.

I believe on win 7pro u can use xp mode. I have done that a few times with older programs and games. I like 10 on touchscreen interfaces but not on desktops.
i bought windows 10 and never installed it.
i was gonna use 10 at work for a while so i could get used to it first but i just don't like it.
i'm rolling with 7 until they stop supporting it as well.

For old people who put everything on the desktop nothing has changed.
The only thing of note for a UX perspective is the control panel and that didn't change until the first creators update.
Works great on touch devices too.

I think dude might be confusing Windows 10 with 8. That as the one that looked like a tablet OS. Windows 10 is fine. I prefer macOS though and only deal with Windows 10 when I game.
Right I'm confused as fukk in this thread with some of the coments. @Call Me James is on point. shyt ain't that hard. Actually makes it easy to use if you know how to use it.
