Someone give it a test run and tell me if it's worth it. I don't trust that new apps interface at all.

To me, Windows 8 basically just looks like windows 7 but with a new overlay for touchscreen tablets.

To me, Windows 8 basically just looks like windows 7 but with a new overlay for touchscreen tablets.

8 is snappier overall. The Start overlay is basically just there for apps but the desktop's still there. The way everythings setup provides a more intuitive and pleasing experience for me.

Did I mention it's faster?

Not fukking with 8 at all until my job decides to and since the overwhelming majority of our machines are still running XP i doubt it will be any time soon. We just got Windows 7 compatibility with all of our software earlier this year.

Man 5-7 years ago I would've downloaded this in a second but with win7 running fine and a legal upgrade costing $40 I'll pass

After using the release preview for a few weeks I'm not touching this with a ten foot pole I'm one of the few people that actually liked Vista
this shyt is much worse (unless your using it on a phone/tablet) Sticking with Windows 7 ...WIN9 droppin in three years anyway I can wait
