The average pc user is more about visuals so they are pissed about learning the new interface. It's not that hard. If anything its easier to use. I pin all the programs I use the most to the start so I don't have to look for shyt. And why would you use start when you can pull up the search function from anywhere?

This is pretty much true for everything. From windows, to cell phones to video games and consoles. Madden being the biggest culprit of people hating just because. NBA2k gets that for the first month each year as well

People are conditioned. That's why Apple can put out the same product (4 to 4S and 5 to 5S) and still sell millions or Android being able to get away with slow ass firmware updates because consumers have been conditioned to accept it.
