Windsor, Ontario....tell me about it

Y'all Canadians out there, and folks who've been to Windsor....is it worth the trip?? Trying to go somewhere with the wifey when I get back to the US. Our budget is $1,200...not enough to buy two plane tickets anywhere and still be able to have a good time over 3-4 days. Windsor is only 6 hours and change from me, so it's within reasonable driving distance. What is there to do there? How's the nightlife for grown folks (27 and up)? I've been all around the world and have never been to Canada, smh...

Windsor isn't special at all to me...Maybe it's because I live a half hour away.Don't know if that's a spot i'd vacation at..it's decent though.

nobody vacations in windsor it's just a border/university town with an unusually high number or run down strip clubs. In all honesty just drive up to toronto its worth it.

They don't want to come here because it's a different country...different school system, legal system, etc...so if they have families, especially, it's harder on the children. Plus, they're far away from their families (parents, cousins etc).

I think there is a snob culture in Toronto (not just women). Canadians, in general, are very friendly, but people in the city keep to themselves mostly.
