Like I said, people stick with who they know. Chicago and Detroit are still in the US...Canada is a different country...every Canadian city is different, but no matter where I go, I'd still be in my country. If I move to the US, it would be a different story. We're similar because we're neighbours, but there are many differences as well. If they have older children, too, that are in high school (even middle school) some of their classes may not transfer. It's a more of a hassle for the families. Toronto doesn't suck...it's not NYC or Chicago or Houston...it's just Toronto.

Yah - it's very different to NYC where you go out, meet other random people etc. I find people just stick with their crew mostly (there are exceptions, I'm sure).

its because Canada sucks and there's nothing for them there. that's why. nba players don't mind going to Chi or Det even if they don't come from those cities. but hate Toronto. y?
ignorance......Toronto is 1000000000000x better than Detroit and 95% of NBA cities. As for Windsor if you like run down industrial towns with a very small downton and a pretty nice casino then that's the place for you. Cheap property tho

is this a joke. I lived near the border and haven't seen any Canadian with Raptors gear for years. you wouldn't even know Toronto had a team if they didn't play in the league. but hockey gear? Canadians wear that all the time. that's prolly y free agents don't like the city. Canadians be about hockey before anything else
