I never heard of anyone moving from NYC to Toronto. But I know a few people who moved from Toronto to NYC. T.O. is a nice international city, but lets get real, nobody outside of immigrants are rushing to move there.

NYC has more jobs end of story. I'm not being cocky here but Americans think Canadians are some weak push overs or something lol. We value quality of living above all. NY is the greatest city in many aspects but not affordable and as much as Toronto is expensive to live in, it is more manageable in many ways. Having a social life here is a lot more manageable... i.e. going out to eat, party etc. What I mean to say is we have a better balance of life. It's not just about how great the city is if most people can't afford to do shyt in it. Not to mention cleaner and safer... I'll take that over stop and frisk any day

Canadians are pretty soft breh, lets keep it real. Both America and the UK go harder than Canada. Just enjoy your higher quality of life, maple syrup products, poutine and molson beer. Nothing wrong with being soft, embrace it.
