We did that for like 2 straight years in 2017 and 2018. We mostly do Cover 2 man Hybrid from what I've seen. We do some cover 3 every now and then.


Allen call the shots on coverage calls, tho.

Man... I'm really weary about a Dline coach making coverage calls. Probably a good move to have a Secondary coach be a former play caller.

Agreed but there's too much smoke with Nielsen.

There's definitely a reason why he's the only coach Payton went above and beyond to keep and yet he's STILL getting teams trying to poach him.

I don't want some situation where he ends up being a top tier D coordinator and we're making "we let Nielsen go and kept DA " posts two years from now.
