This is marvel though. They could easily bring him back on some multiverse shyt. Theres a universe where t'chaka did the sensible thing and took in kill monger and raised him. Wakanda is destroyed by thanos in that reality but killmonger saved some heart shaped herbs and escaped. A rip in the continuity of the universe brings him to earth 616 around the time of tchallas funeral. The rest of the movie is him trying to win the trust of the wakandans and establish hes a different person than their version of killmonger. He sacrifices himself, shuri uses the herb to resurrect him, he sees a vision where the other black panthers tell him he needs to help and then he comes back and shuri helps him get a new suit. He becomes the new black panther

This isn't that hard. They have the money and the writers.
