It looks like cacs win again :mjcry: After the game all I saw on twitter was stuff like this

We need Jameis and other black qbs to win. :mjcry:

@Dr. Narcisse @Originalman I just don't feel like Lovie/Koetter are the right fit for Jameis. Hate how much he's being asked to carry this team as a rookie. Its just too much. Low key Hue Jackson would be somebody I'd love to see work with Jameis. Don't think the Bucs would hire two black head coaches in a row though. Half joking- half serious. :mjcry:

Low key the best "team" for him would have been @Black Jets :yeshrug:

Elite defense, two legit wrs, decent O line, etc.

Yea Jameis gon catch it. Gotta remember he still was viewed as the most "ready" QB since Luck. He had that kinda hype...so when he doesnt deliver he's gonna catch it.

He's got two really good wrs and I think their TE is going to be good. The key for him is surviving his rookie season until they improve the o line.

In 2012 I would have taken RG3 and Wilson over Luck :manny:

Its a marathon not a sprint......lets just hope Jameis is healthy enough to finish the race :francis:

This thread just cracks me up. During the draft everyone was talking about how Tampa Bay was a better situation than Tennessee, and both QBs were driving for that #1 pick, but now that Mariota started out balling suddenly Tennessee is a great place to be? How many of you were saying, "I hope Winston falls to #2 because that's a better situation for success"?

I want both Mariota and Winston to succeed, and I think they both can succeed. Today might be the first day where "Mariota can be a 1st-rate NFL QB" isn't some sort of crazy fringe opinion on this site.

I think a lot of people saw a RG3, but slower with not as strong of an arm :yeshrug:

RG3 lit it up his first game too :ehh:

But Mariota seems more like Russell Wilson were he has great pocket presence and seems real comfortable making pro throws. :yeshrug:

The RG3 comparison was always lame. I was an RG3 stan when he was in college, and he simply balled-out in some games, but his college career wasn't remotely as consistent or distinguished as Mariota's. Mariota showed that he had all the tools a pro needs and had all-pro level athleticism, decision making and composure. RG3 had fantastic athleticism and a great deep ball, but he had not yet come close to proving as much as Mariota already had.

The difference is that Baylor's offense has no NFL quality to it. At least Oregon's has a few more progressions.

Yup.

Yup.
We will see what happens to MAriota when defenses adjust. Anointing anyone after one game in this league, which just made Payton Manning and Andrew Luck look like hot shyt today, is stupid.

The thing is if the defenses adjust to Mariota, Whisenhunt will adjust to the defenses.

I told cats long before I was hoping Jameis would drop to Tennessee.

McCoy, McCarty, and Whisenhunt are the best QB and offensive coaches you can ask for.

 This nikka knows his football

That lil playboy ass offense Whisenhunt runs is perfect for these QBs coming into the league

While I can see what Tampa wants to do with the play action game and big WRs it takes longer

To build that team
