I spent one year in Detroit and it was the worst year of my life.

There was literally a permanent snow cover on the grass from October to March. It was fukkin ridiculous.

And growing up in the south I was used to schools being closed whenever it snowed. In Detroit they had blizzards almost every day and nobody gave a shyt.

The north is simply not made for black people.

Have proper gear on deck. This past week I've been layering clothes with thermals and it made life easy.

I stay comfortable in the winter. I'm amazed at people out here with young ass jackets and ankles exposed walking around looking frozen. This ain't the weather to dress cute in.

Pretty sure this is the coldest full week of my entire lifetime In Iowa/Wisconsin/Illinois.

This may be slightly more common in far north Minnesota, but nobody lives there. This is extremely abnormal for anything south of Minneapolis
