What's Minnesota Summer's like?

When I was younger we were on military drills up there during the Summer. They had some pleasant days I seem to remember mid 70s-mid 80s.

I remember the summer nights being cold. In retrospect the nights were probably just cool, but since I was sleeping outdoors, I just just remember being cold.

This ain't nothing compared to North west of England, but it looks like we don't have it as bad as Minnesota this time. However, our winds here are much stronger and our rainfall.

damn near the entire united states is freezing. it's 7 in chicago, and that's brutal. can't imagine how bad it is in minneapolis.

I don't even dislike cold weather, but when it goes below 15, that's about my limit.

They get a shytload of snow. It doesn't drop in the negatives like Minnesota does. And Northern Minnesota get that Lake Effect crap too

Makes no sense at all. I swear I have a love hate relationship with this state. And I tell people this ain't the east coast type of cold. thats mostly strong wind. Here it's straight frozen tundra type cold. I can't even describe it. Example- take a bottled water. leave it in the car for about 20 min. when u come back, ICE COLD. Advice for anyone that wants to come here and live. Remote control starter for the whip. Make sure your house has a garage. Keep your car maintained. Proper winter gear which of course should be obvious.

I don't know how any black person could live in that weather.

I spent one year in Detroit and it was the worst year of my life.

There was literally a permanent snow cover on the grass from October to March. It was fukkin ridiculous.

And growing up in the south I was used to schools being closed whenever it snowed. In Detroit they had blizzards almost every day and nobody gave a shyt.

The north is simply not made for black people.

Man they don't close anything here. OH its only negative 2. Lets keep school open. The only way kids won't go outside to play during school is the temps are negative. other than that. It could be 8 degrees. Kids are going outside to play. Then the regular notes come. Make sure your child has snowpants, hats, gloves, etc.
