Seems like damn near every 90's East Coast Rap video was shot when it was 20 degrees outside. Maybe because rappers hit the block when they knew it was dead outside and safe to shoot their little video because none of the wolves in the hood would try to plex because all the real killas and jackboys was indoors and not trying to catch hypothermia. Iunno. I'm from the Bay where it's 50-75 degrees all year round but I moved to the East Coast during the 90's, so I somewhat understand.

I think it's because all those MCs were new with little to no budget for videos...so they weren't going to Miami for video shoots or nothing...no clothes bought...legit "we are shooting this in front of the liquor store I buy sandwiches at" I mean, look at survival of the fittest



shyt is extra grimey...even got puff in front of a liquor store showin out...all projects and vacant lots....and if your album was dropping in the winter or fall grab your coats lol ain't no flying to Florida for the video shoot
