i know what yall sayin but yall are talkin about the bleedin of the release into other seasons because of longevity

im talkin about intial impact. i mean yall not wrong per se because cnn, wu, mobb etc always held down the spring/summer to fall.winter with the release cycle.

also a lot of those prominent singles helped keep them in rotation.

I've always likened Cuban Linx as a summer album. The sounds throughout the whole joint have a summer feel.

Dah Shinin by Smif N Wessun is my go to winter album. Liquid Swords is another good one. And I'm from Winnipeg so it's cold as fukk out here for like half the year

I'm in Michigan and there's damn near a foot of snow on the ground...Dah Shinin is the perfect winter time album for me.

Also, maybe it's just me, but the first Cuban Linx always seemed like a summer time album to me.

CL was always a summer album wit winter vibes to me. art barr hit it with the replay value. those 5 wu albums basically got in the constant rotation for mutiple years. Only mobb deep matched that consistancy/replay value.

ready to die - especially tracks like everyday struggle sounds fall/winter-esque. liquid swords - unexplained/swordsman and cold world are some winter ish for real.
