It’s abt to go from high 30s to -3 by tomorrow morning with a foot of snow and possible power outages over here…and we still have at least 3 more months of this

Been dripping my faucets about 24hrs. My water pressure dropped for a few secs earlier, and so did my heart I love my ppl, but I can’t live out all my yrs in the Midwest

, I work somewhere where my employees are my top priority, and if I found out any of my my managers asked anyone to work a 24 hr shift, or if one of the building directors/ops managers ever allowed that request to be put forward, I would personally see to it that this would be the last day that they were employed within our organization. SMH imagine putting a persons livelihood at risk due to force majeure

I don’t think the security officers will mind. They prolly just bring they PlayStations. At least they offered them and the engineers an option of who wants to work instead of forcing them by mandate.


The building has to have 1 engineer and 3 security officers at minimum. It’s in the insurance.

My DUMB ASS just pulled into the parking lot at work

2 degrees and the wind is pickin up. Not much snow yet, but it's coming down.

I better not hear "Hey Fever, keep that spindle turning."

The actual fukked up part about this is Xmas eve/Xmas falls on sat/sun.

In the employee handbook, it clearly states we are observing those days on Friday and Monday. They changed that shyt on the fly and didn't even update the handbook, so we are "supposed" to work tomorrow. I bet i'm not. I still got 8 days vacation/personal to use

Yea we got freezing rain and 30 degree temperature drop by tomorrow evening. I work at LGA in NYC and when I start my shift it will be 56 degrees when I end my shift they saying 24 degrees. Keeping the north face in the whip for the drop. The flu gonna spread like wild fire….

Went outside on my lunch break to start the car and let it run. It was -5 degrees when I went out and that was without the wind chill, and the wind gotta be 20mph. This is a big ass parking lot too. It was so cold, walking 100 feet felt like a mile. I been living in the Midwest all my life and as an adult, I still under dress for the winter smh
