But I don't get most paintings. I hate museums and art galleries.

It's OK. Gets depressing when all you see is your art and can't really leave the studio. The smell of oil stick is rewarding tho

Traditional paintings don't really move me.

I'm more of a comic style artist and fan.

I do love the mural wave I've been seeing. There's several buildings in my town with ill murals, including one of the Greensboro 4, A and T students who started the sit ins.

Visual artwise, I'm a lover of animation and movie effects

Not at all...was learning Kreyol in college by a Haitian prof. She found out I was from Louisiana and didn't wanna hear speak Wnglish. She thought most Bayou folk spoke Kreyol. So she was teaching me.

Nope. Just stinks alot. Sometimes you got re guild it and then seal it. But it fun

There's a lot of know- nothings in the 'crafting community'. I like my shyt to look professional when I'm done.

I use these brands...posed to be the best when not using the traditional methods from waaaay back then.

Alot of TheColi loves art but never really got a chance to see work in progress and in pictures.

This piece is of a dear friend turned muse and she allowed me to use her image to become Maman Brigitte. The piece is 36x48 and is a mixed media: oil stick, acrylic, oil pastel, gold leaf, rose gold leaf, spray paint all on Wood.

I started this piece on 10/20/2023 exactly at 8:38 PM. This is from 2 sessions. Gonna try and finish it by Monday, 10/21/2023.
