is it your first time applying? most people have to be rejected first. took my moms 3 years to get on social security. once you get approved you get all the money starting from the date you applied. it helped her get her little plot of land set up.

any decent disability lawyer should be able to get you approved but it's gonna take at least a year or two sadly. good luck

Currently in the reconsideration phase and last year got a lawyer on the case.
