Try to avoid getting your wisdom teeth out.

I got mine out not too long ago and couldn't eat ANYTHING properly for like 2 weeks. Lost about 10 pounds because I had no appetite.

Why would anyone want to eat when it hurts to eat?

Not to mention when you wake up from the surgery all you feel like doing is spitting up blood. But then again you can't really spit it up.. You have to just let it fall out of your mouth or you'll fukk yourself up nicely and cause even more problems for yourself. :to:

In reality its usually better to get them out cuz majority cases they end up bothering you regardless especially when u get older UNLESS they come in properly aligned then you shouldn't have any problems for the most part

Ya what gets most people THEY DONT FOLLOW THE DOCS INSTRUCTIONS
and it gets them in trouble and shyt. Now there are times u do and you still can have problems.

Your not suppose to spit let it ooze out or drip out your mouth. Dont suck outta a straw. NO smoking or drink carbonated beverages.

Just eat soft foods take meds and relax and for the most part you should be good.

Even though I followed those instructions i did have a lil problem with mines nothin serious i just went in to work to my office put in the dental pack meds in my socket had a co worker make sure it was in and went bout my business. I made sure i put it in right after i was done with my patient by asking the dentist to look at it.

I followed all instructions and it still took me 2 weeks. I had a very badly impacted left side that caused a lot of pain which is why the recovery took longer. They had to pretty much shatter one of my teeth into little bits.

Ya what happens if they can't pull it out properly the tooth tends to crack or shatter. Worse case is when they drill down the bone that supports your teeth just to get it out. So its not rare it takes 2 wks happen it just goes case by case basis

That was for wisdom teeth though, right?

I'm just trying to get some cavities taken care of.

Can't speak on cavities but a little warm water off the kettle and some sea salt won't hurt and might make it feel better it kills bacteria.

I'm pretty sure I have at least two cavities but I don't have dental insurance. FML. :sadcam:

Bout to call the dental clinic in my neighborhood and at least see if I can get something done for cheap.

Find a dental school and let them hack around in your mouth for the cheap.

Root canal is when the pulp is in tooth and the endodontics has to go in and clean out the tooth completely and put meds in. the tooth is pretty much dead though after the treatment is done

yes its very expensive
