Wise Intelligent still sharp as ever
This is 1 of the best songs of the year to me, really enjoyed it, Wise is underrated in general, he has some exceptional work. It's good to see some of the legend and OG type dudes in a music sense stand up and say something like KRS-One, Wise, K-Rino, Talib and others. By and large Hip Hop has stood up in a positive way and expressed well. It's unacceptable these racist murders by police, there's clear differential treatment and it's straight up unjustified murder, a lot of the situations that happen later stem from that, and that shouldn't be overlooked, it's a reason why other murders happened. Until the officers know that if you murder someone unjustly you're going down for murder it will continue, they stay murdering people and in many sectors get support for it. It's not right, and it starts a cycle of violence unfortunately where many other innocent people will be effected, but if you keep murdering and oppressing people, not even talking in general systematically but in these police murders people are gonna snap and there's a limit to which this can keep happening, it's been going on for a huge amount of time, this is just another form, but it's dangerous, and if reforms aren't made in many ways, including attitudes, it will continue and get worse even before it gets better.
Artists should definitely use their voice and influence and it's good to see people such as Wise doing that. Hopefully this gets the listens it deserves.

Yeah, both albums tight, yeah spoke to Wise about that, hopefully that album does come out because it sounds ILL, he is dropping fire, bold shyt with mad content, good to have that in the game, much needed, some of the dope conscious artists on a roll right now quality wise.
