I don't think this is applicable in a "visa-free" environment. There is no screening of anything when you arrive in over 100 countries as an American

But staying permanently would be difficult because they require paperwork. And even this is an easy hurdle to climb in most of the world with a small bribe or two; however , the bribe system is inaccessible to normal people in eu or the former British colonies or America's Asian puppets .
You have to define "visa free" I have flown staright into Canada, Mexico, France and England just a glance at my passport and I was on my way.

In Kenya, Tanzania the DR and Colombia I either had to fill out a paper visa form or an electronic one. I had to fill out the form with migration Colombia almost a week out, so if they didn't want me to come they could've stopped me.

I believe it. Life is exceptionally easy as an American abroad.

I have heard horror stories from my Indian colleagues. Keep in mind these are dudes with PHDs , who are deep into their technical careers and they still get put through the ringer by immigration globally. Simply booking a conference for me in pretty much every country except NK and Iran is negligible effort on my part, but they gotta obtain all sorts of documents to do it, and they still might get denied. :wow:

The system is crazy if you think about it.

I last went to England during covid and I swear to God that I didn't meet a single person at their immigration department at Heathrow. We just slid our passports into a card reader similar to the ones at a grocery store; and simply entered their country from there. The Only govt people there were menial employees waiting for the disabled passengers
