Witcher 3. After fallout 4 Im not understanding the hype.

Im on level 4 I believe....trying to find Ciri...

um, this isnt really fun, its taking 15 hits to kill a single nekker (there's 5) but they're killing me in just 4-5 hits. I dont wanna spend 20 min dodging and single hitting only to get that work once they surround me.

the fukk is going on here? when I watch tutorials Im seeing people slay them in 3 hits. I bought a new sword, but there's no area to buy a new silver sword (im assuming Im getting that work cause Ive had the same sword since level 1), all the stores show level 1 weapons.

wtf am I doing wrong? this shyt is not enjoyable at all.

Witcher 3 far surpasses Fallout 4. It's my GOTY.

Fallout 4 exploring and story aren't as good as Witcher 3's. Witcher 3 raised the bar for open world wrpgs. Fallout 4 is just more of the same. Still fun though

I realized players sucked at combat when people started saying the Witcher 3 was hard on "Normal". Do you even dodge/parry? The only benefit of the doubt I give, is that leveling can be unforgiving if you specced solely down the Alchemist tree. In that vain, I give you the best protip since Witcher 2....spec Quen, Quen is god, Quen is love. Amongst everything else in combat, Quen to heal, Quen a fight starts, etc

I got to the baron and just lost interest for thr time being. I can already see where this game is going. Hey im getalt and I have this urgemt super important reasom for needing this info. Okay go find these boars for me dog glorified fetch quests mixed with bare bomes combat isnt my thing

Witcher 3 was just to boring to me...

My most hyped game of the year and I just stopped playing it because it started feeling like such a chore...combat just boils down to parrying dodging and using igni...i need more than that if I am investing dozes of hours in a game

Fallout 4 is so much better..I probably put at least 60 hours into my first two playthroughs and I am already scheming up a character build for another one...

I don't even have Witcher 3 over DAI...

Yeah, levelled correctly and used appropriately, Quen can get you through a lot of shyt.

Its just going from bb to this is like night and day. Game is huge and piss easy. The presentstion is awesome though and the story seems cool but im in no rush tonplow through it and then with 5 coming out it might never get touched again

You must be using some dull as human sword with an under leveled Geralt for nekkers to be tanking hits like that. All that aside the game is sooooooo overrated. Coming from a guy that beat it and put in hella hours. It's a beautiful built world and great lore but I can get the same thing in a movie and book. When it comes to everything game play related it really does fail, except for Gwent which I loved the most.

5? You mean SFV? And yeah, I feel you. The funny thing is, while I often made comparisons of this and Bloodborne, I can appreciate each game's respective differences of how they handle everything, from combat, to story-telling, world building and presentation, EVEN the differences in difficulty factors. The sole exception to this is that the controls of Witcher 3 are just being barely serviceable and Bloodborne's are pitch perfect. It utterly destroys W3 in that aspect. True sad fact tho...I've still yet to finish either game and I've not played either of them since many moons ago. Too Many Games...Too Little Time.
