The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt concludes the story of the Witcher, Geralt of Rivia, the series' protagonist.
- The world is much much bigger. The setting is more than 30 times larger than previous Witcher games and more than 20% bigger than Skyrim. .The world is broken up into three main locations. One area includes a large city called Novigrad, the second is a swampy location called No Man's Land, and the last location is a snowy, mountainous tundra
- Your choices matter. The game will track your choices and actions which ultimately affects how the game will end. There are 36 different endings with over 300 minor variations in the story.
- A living world. The world features a dynamic day and night cycle influencing some monsters and their powers. The game features no loading screens.
- Combat has changed. The fighting system has been completely revamped. The devs are making the combat more intimate giving us the ability to to have greater control over Geralt's attack combinations and movement. Combat has been redesigned in order to combine traditional RPG elements with the speed and precision of a dedicated fighting game
- Much more to do. Monster hunting will be Geralt's main source of income. There will also be multiple, optional side activites to do in the game.
- The game has over 100 hours of gameplay.
- For the first time a second character will be playable in the game, Ciri.
- The coolest thing is that it won't be neccessary for you to have played the previous games. You will also be able to catch up on the story through flashbacks.
- CD Project are also working on an "Insanity Mode" as one of the difficulty settings. Its basically for those hardcore gamers.
- The Wild Hunt arrives May 19, 2015.
