Do you know how long it takes to transfer your info?

I did it a little while back, posted this in the Playstation thread:

So, I used the new "Backup and Restore" feature just introduced in 2.50, and it worked like a charm. Backed up my entire drive, games and all, Sunday night. 368gb, took about 9 hours. Got my 2TB drive in the mail today, installed it in the PS4, got 2.50 installed on it, then restored from my backup. Took about another 9 hours, and after it booted back up, it was like I never left.

Put my old PS4 HD into the external enclosure, re-formatted it, and I'm gonna use it to put music on and hook it up to the system. It'd be nice if they enabled DLNA already.

I loved skyrim... and open world games... this game is gonna take me a long time to finish and even then i might lollygag to just level up my character for no reason other than to fukk with people. i also love the fact we face a variety of mythical monsters... I cant wait I wonder what undersea creatures we gonna fight. I already saw mermaids and Harpees. I wonder if they have a Kraaken!!!

The size of the map, the variety of monsters, the graphics, the armor you can craft, magic, etc... it's like the witcher 3 is what skyrim should have been. not to say skyrim was bad or horrible. but comparing skyrim on xbox 360 and you look at the witcher 3 with the world being 3x's the size of skyrim it's like....

and yes you can kill townspeople but i imagine them putting bounties on you... or putting you in jail... or the police to outright kill you...

I didn't really like witcher 2 and I'm going to get 3. Stopped playing 2 a few hours in. This new one looks different. Better.

Part 2 got better, but it was linear like @ORDER_66 said, when I originally got it I thought it would be like Elder Scrolls Oblivion with a big open world, but all those closed in areas annoyed me. I think all RPGs now need to be in open worlds, shyt is stale if they're not.

New details and information from The Witcher 3 is being revealed as we approach the game’s launch. First of all Neogaf user darkkain who got his hand on PSX Extreme, a polish video games magazine, has revealed that the PS4 version has long loading times whenever the main character dies or if the player selects to fast travel anywhere. The magazine revealed that it takes around 40 seconds to the load game back.

CD Projekt have acknowledged in the past that there will be loading screens whenever the player dies or selects the fast travel option but did not mentioned how long it will take to get back into the game. Hopefully this will be fixed in a day one patch.

took mine bout i think a hour or more to be honest

i dont think the ps4's support the external HDDs only the internal ones plus you gotta backup your information when transferring it over...

for these developers to be so smart they sure do some dumb ass shyt...why would u not have an option for external hard drives...i still dont get why ps4 and x1 aren't BC

The Xbox one I believe has external HDD support but you cannot take the hard drive out of it, which makes no sense to me. I also believe ps4 added external HDD support a few updates ago when they added that external USB drive support upgrade. I would prefer to swap the internal hard drive it gives me less of a headache to. The xbox360 removable HDD was the goat?! I'm still trying to figure out why they changed that instead of adding the same feature with the Xbox one...

So how do you backup your shyt? Do you back it up via ps plus cloud first and then transfer it, or?

Bought this on the PC for $48 on Steam. I have all the other games on the PC and a card that can max it out at 1080p 60 FPS so it only made sense to get it on PC.
