i see a few problems with the game but the only one i really care about is load times.
i get the skyrim comparison. so far i feel like its skyrim and red dead redemption had a baby, with arkham asylum babysitting...
feels like i could easily end up playing this for the better part of a couple years like i did fallout 3

There is no way your killing people by just mashing hard attack and dodging 5% of the time.

I use mostly square attacks and few heavy attacks. And dodging is 60% of combat. The signs is aalso very important is say like 30% combat because they can be life saving and you have to time them right and use repeatedly and I can use different ones. Lots of strategy involve for diff enemies. And the regular hitting and stuff is technique too so that's 50% of course.

Also the abilities you can add to improve all diff aspects of combat so it makes it even more deep.

In conclusion combat is very epic and your a lame

Combat is far from epic But if u understand the mechanics and stop playing the game like it requires skill itseems more fun.

U can't play the game like a swordsman who dodges and counters attacks. U have to use the right combination of abilities to stun and take off more damage to stunned foes.

I tried to fight the griffin on the hardest difficulty like a bloodborne boss. Wasn't working. Used a stamina post ion so I could use my fire on the grid which was upgraded to burn him and it allowed me to get in some heavy attacks while he was immobilized before jumping out. Then shooting it with the crossbow while I waited for my stamina to regeneration so I could hit it with fire again. Ahot.it out the sky with the crossbow when it flew.

U can't play the game like it requires technical skills. The combat is for casual gamers.

You don't fukk with RPGs as in you don't have the patience to play them or you just haven't really played one in a while?

It's as an easy game to get into regardless. But it is an RPG and if you don't like something like Skryim, Dragon Age, Fallout etc, then I don't see you liking this. If you just haven't played an RPG in a while, I think this is a good one to start with.

So you had to use all the combat tactics instead of just spamming the sword and dodge, but that somehow makes the combat less epic and skillful?:dwillhuh:

Yes. Because the characters are so small it's not as epic.

Plus the sword play is a generic arkham. They didn't want to bit to hard so they made it generic. U can't slash and dodge the griffin in its face. have to play a ranged game.

You just described the techneeque (or skills) you used to kill the gryphon :francis:

It's true that abilities in here help a LOT. I like to use just the shield ability and dodge and sword attack cause it's fun as hell.

the mind control is op But there's skill required in picking the right ability and getting the timing off. You were facing the ggryphon he's the first boss and it's really just the intro to the game. 95% of the time you'll be fighting multiple ppl at once and it gets tricky.

But it seems like your expecting blood borne gameplay in a game that isn't blood borne. Its not a super difficult game Appreciate the game for what it is.
