People just gotta be careful about who they try it on. Depending on who they are, they could be setting traps themselves. You don’t wanna end up in a chick’s roster, showering her with gifts and affection and attention and validating her in an attempt at a long game—-while she soaks it up and makes moves with others during the part of the cycle when u “withdraw”.

A lot of relationship dynamics these days reflect people hedging against this type of behavior. The whole “u single til u married” mentality is a direct foil to love bombing.

Women entertain “Many Men” so that if/when one gets to the withdrawal phase, she has others to deal with so she won’t have to be impacted by manipulation attempts. That’s why true manipulators spend lots of energy isolating their targets so they have nowhere to go to escape the effects of their manipulation. Their victims just have to marinate in that loop where they are loved on and then dropped. Loved on and then ghosted. So they end up trying to avoid that drop off from their manipulators.
But dealing with a target who entertains multiple people, just provides an opportunity for them to cultivate bonds with others in their mating circle.
