metal gear solid 4 servers went offline 9 years ago but the pc community banded together n run their own servers for emulated copies to play online.

shyt is running decent now if you have a decent cpu with 8 cores. My laptop runs it amazing especially fighting games and Japanese games.

PS3 emulation is pretty good right now. Granted you need a beast of a cpu though. It's def not perfect yet though.





On the flipside Switch emulation is at the point where it's playing games day 1.

Alot of games playing at PS3 level with midrange cpu's but if you trying to go above and beyond on some 60 fps shyt stable and the game was natively 30 fps then yes you do need a beast cpu for that. Alot of PS3 games had trash framerates and alot of 60 fps games were unstable on the actual console.
