Love him or hate him he's top 20 for sure. He's the face of the company and now he's tied with flair. He's been on the other side of the ring from most of the great wrestlers of the past 10 years and put on classics.

Edit forgot to mention booking has him top 20 of all time. Keyword is booking

I think his outside work propels him a little bit. He's arguably the perfect representative for the company. Learns different languages just for the sake of representation, largest wish granter in the organization's history. Every superstar who talks about him boasts about how hard working he is compared to the next guy, even AJ Styles has gone out and said how he's the hardest working guy (reference). Also, he's also been the most reliant top guy Vince has had.

Hogan left him and almost destroyed him
Rock left and went to hollywood at such a young age
Austin walked off the job

Man is definitely top 10

Its hard to say.

He has been the only true drawing act for the past decade or so. Not because he so much greater than everybody else but WWE's failure to cultivate box office draws other than him. He was the figure head for a pretty damn unremarkable era of mainstream wrestling where the casual fanbase has pretty much eroded and ratings continually sink lower and lower. Didn't really become a good main event wrestler until the later half of his career and even then he abuses the lameduck wwe style of wrestling of move-nearfall-move-nearfall-move-nearfall. The most damning thing is his beyond stale character. He has been the EXACT SAME for a decade and never made any effort to add depth or turn heel.

I want to say top 10 with an asterisk.

Rock could do anything because he had options. Cena can't. Being pushed as the kayfabe best is all he's got.

So winning fake titles and fake records is used as to how high someone ranks on all time list? :dead:

Mr Perfect, Rick Rude never won world titles (in E) but they're all time greats, probably ahead of Cena. But cause they didn't win a shyt load of fake titles most won't put them ahead of him? :heh:

Every person who is considered an all-time great has been able to evolve as a performer. Cena has been the same character for over a decade. He's not top 10 worthy.

Exactly. Couldn't put it better myself.

For 12 years dude just comes out in a different T shirt every week and beats the whole roster to boos and mixed reactions, how is that GOAT level material? Come on people. :skip:

So learning a foreign language, granting make a wishes, being a good representative for the company, working hard in the gym and being a "nice guy" means he's top 10 all time :dead:

Hogan's heel turn in 96 and his subsequent run from that is why I'll always have him over Cena. If Cena has a great heel turn and a great lengthy run from that like Hogan did, then maybe he'll go ahead... maybe.

But that's just my view, an all time list is all opinion at the end of the day :yeshrug:
