I see asian and hispanic kids on the stage with him. This is not a program targeted towards black people. Its an all inclusive program for "minorities".. we know how those things ussually end up. black folks always get the short end of the stick. I will withhold judgement for now but from what i see so far its more of a corp tax wrote off, photo op, and talking point than anything. A baby step in The right direction i guess.

I always feel like McDonald's is sometimes TOO involved in the black community when we have such high hypertension rates. I suppose a starter job is a starter job though.
Can we get some science firms or financial businesses up there? I'd like to see them lean more in that direction than help from fast food places

I think these public-private partnerships are more effective than some legislation passed by Congress and dealing with government bureaucracy, tho it would be nice if some funding could be carved out from the federal budget.
