no offense, but some people keep repeating this silly narrative over and over again on here and it's just not true.

regardless if the show is crap, great, or mediocre ... Smackdown will draw big ratings for Fox on Friday nights. they will easily be the most watched show on Friday nights and will be an advertising revenue gold mine for Fox.
