Console gaming is far cheaper. My new Xbox One S was only $300. Thats the price of the latest graphics card, which must be upgraded at least every 3-4 years to stay current. Thats quicker than most console life cycles breh.
That's not true. I don't have to upgrade my card to play current gen games, you should only be upgrading you graphics card when the next gen comes out. My card plays 4K and vr and it was under 300. The games haven't caught up yet. Forza and skyrim look way better on pc than Xbox. But I agree consoles are catching up and are convient and cheaper and easier to use.

OP doesn't have the resolve to be a PC gamer. Dishonored 2 and Watch Dogs 2 ran perfectly, with much better graphics, compared to the consoles at Faux K. Things are looking real good for PC; not to mention the VR headsets are better than the PSVR

Hammer, Unity, UE are levels above what we see in console games when it comes to level editors. I hope to see that margin close but with DLC, I personally don't see if.

I see the convience with consoles but a MKB setup with a fast SDD and one of those GSync monitors running at 60fps/1440p ain't nothing fukking with that. :francis:

I have no interest in 4k gaming. Playing games @ 1080p with Ultra Settings is more than enough for me. That's really what the Pro and Scorpio should be targeting anyway. PC like settings @ 1080p with 60+ FPS would be a significant upgrade for console players.
yep. there was never a solid 1080p console, but then they want to make the jump to 4K

Unless you're building @Ciggavelli rigs I don't see the appeal.

I see the appeal of having a high end state of the art rig sure.

But if you don't have one I just don't see how that's more appealing than the simplicity of console gaming :yeshrug:

I play games to relax not troubleshoot
I'll concede to this. I got a $5K+ rig (including my 5K monitor; and another $2k for VR headsets and peripherals). I'm in this shyt heavy, but if I wasn't, I'd go console. I want the best of the best, no compromises, and PC gaming gives me that. If I didn't have the money for a very expensive PC, I'd probably go console :manny:

But right now, I'm waaaaaay above what consoles can provide. Like way, way above. There's no comparison to playing all ultra, 60fps, at 5K in the console world.
