but apparently this huge of a gap doesnt matter compared to consoles such precious exclusives that pc gamers want so bad.
consoles have exclusives that are so good pc gamers would sacrifice thousands of games

I can't believe people in this thread actually seemed to think that these "new" consoles were actually doing 4k native gaming...
But then again these same people have not been and still aren't smart enough to understand that while they think they are getting a "great deal" on a console...they are really paying 100's for a closed box system filled with year or years old hardware...so of course they wouldn't know anything about native 4k gaming...

The best selling FPS this year, by a large margin is Overwatch. The PC community dwarfs the console community on that game alone.

GTA V 4K is still the best I have seen to date. I haven't played Battefield 1 or Watchdogs in 4K PC yet
Rendering at REAL 4K/5K is so much better on PC. OP Needs to get himself a 6850k and 2 Titan X Ps and he'd change his mind.
I spent last night playing PS4pro games, and shyt isn't comparable to 4/5K on PC. Sure the HDR is nice with high contrast settings, but with a 5K monitor, you get amazing colors as well. To me HDR is overrated (though I have HDR 10 on both my 4K TVs). Nothing is better than 4/5K on PC.
Checkerboard 4K and 4K upscale looks nice, but compared to PC, it's unimpressive. We got bloom, PCSS shadows, 4K textures, etc. on PC.
Watch Dogs 2 all maxed out on 4K is one of the best looking games ever. Deus Ex looks real good too, but it's a bytch to run at 4K (even with the best of the best components).
PC has so many options for graphical enhancements (10+). Console games are lucky to have 2
If you want the best graphics, you go 4/5K on PC with all ultra settings. Not to mention 60fps vs the console's 30fps

Download the high resolution pack and you'll be impressed as fukk. Also turn on the highest shadow setting (PCSS I believe). Watch Dogs 2 looks so good

Negro you're trippng. You probably spent north of 5k and you probably spent hours fine tuning and updating the firm ware of the various components of your system to get it working. It's just way too time consuming. Hell, it's so much easier to plug in a console, let the auto updates do they thing, then commence gaming. With my Xbox S, i honestly feel the performance is on par with 90% of PC games. 4k has changed the game. Especially with all the headaches associated with PC gaming, namely technical, it's an obvious choice IMHO.
