No he doesn't. Again, he didn't write or direct it.
The only interesting thing here to me is that Peele wanted to produce Weapons but his team fumbled the play, allowing the film to be financed elsewhere. Producing is about ideas and vision, and clearly he does not lack for those qualities. Him sounds pretty good on paper, the problem was the obnoxious marketing and the fact that it looks like a music video director made it.
So even though they promoted it heavily with his name more than the director, he’s free from any criticism?
