I told my friends this feels like the beginning movie scene or first episode of many of those apocalypse and zombie shows.

It has all the components: Crazy illness spreading like crazy, mass panic, government seeming incompetent in handling it and even behind it...

and in those movies and shows the outcome is always that within a few months humanity completely changes—be it a side effect of the illness resulting in zombiehood or bodies dropping left and right until it’s only a few left in the world.

Obviously a huge exaggeration of what could happen.

but then again who the fukk thought this would happen a few months ago. Just a few weeks ago everything was business as usual.
