At this point, what the administration needed to do was send in appropriate resources in a timely manner, which by all accounts they've done a fantastic job. What is not needed at this point is a presidential visit as it will impede progress and appear disingenuous.

Man you are insufferable. Those people need money and aid, not Obama coming down with this entourage and bringing everything to a screeching halt. As long as the aid is going where it needs to go, which he can direct over the phone, then he is doing his job. If you were down there and had no food or clean water for your kids which would you prefer, food and water today or food and water 2 days later with a presidential handshake?
Every time Obama goes on vacation people say he should have done this or should have done that. Do you think the president is just sitting around in the Oval office just waiting for something to do every day? He has meetings on top of meetings scheduled for every single day so he cant just schedule a vacation on a whim. That shyt takes a lengthy amount of time to plan and if he doesnt take it when its scheduled there will a long ass time to go before he can take another one.

This is the same guy who does his TPP meetings. Yes, those people need aid and atleast they are getting that from what I saw. However, it pisses me off when I see Trump down there (not even a supporter probably a stunt) while Obama is playing golf. That's not leadership and I'm not gonna stand by caping for wrong.
P.S. I would want the food then like now. However, my point was Obama could have held a meeting privately with the victims down there. I know it's a state issue, but he's out golfing. It's not like he was doing anything worthwhile like in a foreign country.

Soooo there are thousands of people living in the football stadium with no food no water no electricity..no access to healthcare...no police protection...no federal military protection..with the police running around KILLING INNOCENT CITIZENS with no fukks given. They didnt even bother to call a state of emergency. The Katrina debacle was one of the worse disasters to be done to American citizens in decades. And it would be the worse since then if not for the Flint crisis.
