I’d be weary of a third party. They’re either going to be a joke like the Canadian Green Party. That merely exist just to participate and have no real shot of winning. Or they’re a corruptible party that merely exist to strategically lift votes off one of the major two parties. Politics is a vile game.

Not voting or voting 3rd party is useless unless you convince a sizeable chunk of white people to do it.

Black people saying "fukk the Dems, I'm not voting" = Republicans in charge....making it harder to vote, loading up the courts with conservative judges and stripping your Civil Rights away.

That doesn't mean that the Dems are "good" but as long as 45% of white people are hardcore single issue conservatives....it's gonna be hard to just sit out and not vote since SOMEONE has to win the elections.

If black people didn't vote democrat and just sat out, Democrats would have to either pander to Hispanics but it still wouldn't be enough in swing states.

The party would have to change their agenda to actually earn and keep the black vote, or more progressives would run, which would give black voters a viable option.

Exactly. You have Republicans convincing white people they’re they oppressed ones, and that there is more racism against white people. They are dismantling everything meant to help black people get a leg up, from affirmative action, to minority grants, and appointing young, lifetime conservative judges and Supreme Court justices. Black folks think anything other than checks in the mail is doing nothing.
