Well if they are, then you have to include them in your little argument! Also, wouldn't rap be in the same mold under your logic? Under a system made by cac producers? Primarily black? Obviously I don't believe this but your logic can be fitted on a lot of things.

no, hip-hop is a culture started in the streets of black and latino america. and as far as i know, most hip-hop producers are black and most hip-hop executives are black. and hip-hop is musical journalism charting the black experience, an art form that is still quite profitable for independent artists who fall under no white corporate umbrella. when you can find me a black sports industry that operates independently of white corporate executives, this comparison may contain some merit. whites have tried to steal and exploit this culture, but they haven't been successful.
