Yes, truly slaves :mjlol:

pretty much. i oftentimes feel like i'm dealing with intellectual and academic inferiors on this forum. i don't mean to come across as haughty or even dismissive of whatever achievements you might lay claim to, but people like you strike me as rather crude in your train of thought. you come across as hostile to the nuanced dynamic of race in america and how it impacts your position in life. the internet is rich with plenty of material that discusses the slave industry of professional sports and its disastrous effect on the mobility of black america - black men, specifically. what i'm saying is a real and tragic obstacle to you being accepted as a human being in the eyes of america.

but, hey, i'm just :troll:

I'll say one thing: this would make for some excellent copypasta. Also, you keep talking about the black man, but what about the black women athletes? Truly there must be some kind of exploitation there...

if black women athletes become prominent examples of black physical specimens driving a billion dollar industry, maybe i'll include them. as is, serena and venus aren't exactly the norm. until then, i'd like to just keep the focus on black male athletes, the ones who are suffering wholesale exploitation by the professional slave industry called sports in america.

american professional sports isn't a precursor to what are essentially european and asian extensions of that industry?

Well if they are, then you have to include them in your little argument! Also, wouldn't rap be in the same mold under your logic? Under a system made by cac producers? Primarily black? Obviously I don't believe this :whoa: but your logic can be fitted on a lot of things.

no, hip-hop is a culture started in the streets of black and latino america. and as far as i know, most hip-hop producers are black and most hip-hop executives are black. and hip-hop is musical journalism charting the black experience, an art form that is still quite profitable for independent artists who fall under no white corporate umbrella. when you can find me a black sports industry that operates independently of white corporate executives, this comparison may contain some merit. whites have tried to steal and exploit this culture, but they haven't been successful.
