Without Illmatic and Ether, where does Nas rank in your best MCs list?

I'd put him in the mid to bottom 200's at least. I'm sorry but most of his influence is with his first album. No rapper is saying they were influenced by Oochie Wally or Nastradamus. Only time I hear nikkas rocking Nas joints outside of the internet is when they're listening to Illmatic.

Stillmatic was above average though not gonna front. And God's Son was alright. But it's still not enough to rank him higher. There's just too many better MCs with greater amount of material that aged better.

Throw in his features in the 90s and unreleased songs, and Nas is still top 5 pretty easily

Still GOAT to me.

All the standout stuff from the rest of his albums + his unreleased material and Nas' discog is still strong.

And lol at bringing up "Nastradamus or "Oochie Wally"...like people haven't been influenced by "Nas Is Like" or a "The Rise & Fall".

whose alias is this?

Nas has about 40 undeniable, incredible songs outside of Illmatic. 40. Very few rappers can say that. Your average rapper of today doesn't even have one undeniable, lasting song. The good rappers got anywhere between 5-10. If you're exceptional, 10-20. In the elite category? 20-30. And then obvious GOAT, top 3 category? 30+

Nas is still in the top 3.
