This is why I've never really been mad at him for becoming a one dimensional broken record since Kush and OJ. He has the talent and ability to put out much more creative and lyrical records, but this style he's using now has him caked the fukk up after years of putting out music that obviously took much more effort to make didn't get him to the top.

You could say "Why would you respect someone who has obviously taken an easier road to cash and sacrificde his art because of it" but If people are gonna pay you more to be a sub-par rapper I can't be mad at that person, it's the fukked up part of the industry that I'd exploit too if I was in his shoes.

The game is different nowadays.

Artists used to be able to sit on music for months or years and save it for their next album.

Now you cant really do that anymore. You can't put out an album with 2 hit songs and save the rest of the great songs for the next album.

Which makes the music better

That is another reason why quality music is so low. Cats need to make better quality music so people can appreciate it over time, which also builds anticipation for the next release. Funny how Hip Hop, MCs work the hardest and get the least amount of compensation and respect from listeners. I Only see J Cole and K Dot and even Drake doing that method these days.

I'm not giving Wiz a pass for making 1 hot song outta every 6 songs since '11. Just can't do it.
