but he ruined his image after wifing up Amber Rose so all we have left is the music![]()

All of them had bigger hits than Wiz this year![]()

it's like you're lacking perspective breh
Atlantic didnt Expect Black and Yellow to be as massive at it was.
Work Hard,Play Hard and whatever other single he just dropped didn't have the radio presence of Black and Yellow...or Roll Up.
no Monster single, and he's only projected to sell around 50k less? you really trying to say that's not good?
how did Wale sell more than Wiz, when Rolling Papers and Ambition both dropped in 2011..and Wiz sold more?
) I'd actually be surprised...to me he seemed to be buzzless, so it's a testement to his fanbase i guess...I was expecting him to do some Bobby Ray sophmore album numbers2 Chainz' "No Lie" - The song debuted at number 46 on the Billboard Hot 100. In its tenth week, the song peaked at number #2 4 .
Meek Mill's "Amen: - US Billboard Hot 100 - #5 7
Meek Mill & Wale - "Bag Of Money" (featuring Rick Ross, Meek Mill and T-Pain) US Hot 100 - #64
Wiz Khalifa - Work Hard, Play Hard - US Billboard Hot 100 - #1 7
You were saying?
I'm comparing their second albums as far as Wale goes. Wale dropped a year ago with Ambition. This is Wiz's second major album (I know it's his fourth overall).
Even then, as far as this year, what MONSTER singles did Kendrick have? Meek? Only 2 Chainz had anything comparable and he's gonna outsell him. Wiz slacked on the effort for his second album and it shows. Period.
Swimming Pools
and Work Hard, Play Hard was so big they pushed the album back 4 months and Wiz had to put out another tape to keep people happy. Neither Wiz nor Atlantic capitalized off of that song.
Now Work Hard, Play Hard charted at 13 on the hip-hop charts. Bag Of Money peaked at #2 . Amen peaked at #5 . Swimming Pools peaked at #4 . No Lie was #1 . Wale had a #1 song on that chart. Work Hard, Play Hard, wasn't as big of a hit towards the fans he relies on to buy his records.
The biggest hit Wiz really had all year came from a soundtrack to a movie nobody saw or bought.
