Off-topic.......the Wizards haven't won 50 games since 1979?!?

ok we will just have to agree to disagree. im sure it wasnt his decision to go ahead and deal harden. they still have some of the same issues closing with a new coach so i dont think you can put the blame all on brooks like he wasnt any good at his job. as good as westbrook and KD are, i think the holes in the roster, specifically at 2 guard, plus injuries are the main thing that has held them back.
its a good look for the wizards IMO.

Is Brooks even a good defensive coach?
Or were those OKC defenses a product of the talent they were putting on the floor?
If he can legit put out a top5 defense on the floor consistently, wall can at least cover up some of his offensive deficiencies.

I hated brooks much before we dealt harden. Dealing harden has nothing to do with brooks sucking. Brooks has no feel for the game at all, terrible with in game management , stubborn as hell with rotations. Isn't a leader of men. He's a players coach only. Brooks is a good developmental coach, not going to get you over the hump. He overstayed his welcome in okc about 4 years fukk him.

how were they supposed to get over the hump with all the injuries and no floor spacing ? what series did they lose to a team that wasnt better than them ?

Their attempts to get KD so far have been pathetic, every move they make is depended on a guy who is most likely not going there. Also I don't understand teams going after Brooks for KD, if KD really wanted Brooks he still would be the coach for OKC.

they werent winning that shyt regardless breh. miami was going to eat them up even more if they tried to go small. the heat were a bad matchup for them.
so are the spurs, except when they had another scorer/playmaker/shooter in harden. as long as they keep closing games with defensive players around KD and russ they will be easy to defend and live and die by hero shots.
If your coach is not utilizing the team to the maximum optimization they're a bad coach. Scott brooks under utilized the thunder for 5 -6 years straight
