The ball moves much better then before on offense. Bigs are actually involved in decision making. Plus his rotations are ten times better

People ignore all this though because late in games they do what every other team does & go to their stars

Brooks somehow never figured out that taking both KD & Russy off the floor at the same time wasn't great, Donovan already fixed that. Slowly started bringing Adams out to the top of the key to run some offense towards the end of the season too.

Brooks I thought actually did a great job early last season despite the record because he was getting stuff out of guys & staying in games they had no business being in. The problem was once guys got back he went right back to relying on just talent alone.

I hated brooks much before we dealt harden. Dealing harden has nothing to do with brooks sucking. Brooks has no feel for the game at all, terrible with in game management , stubborn as hell with rotations. Isn't a leader of men. He's a players coach only. Brooks is a good developmental coach, not going to get you over the hump. He overstayed his welcome in okc about 4 years fukk him.

I thought Orlando should have hired him instead of Skiles but yeah if you're looking to take a team over the hump you don't want Brooks.

This guy had Harden trying to guard Lebron in the NBA finals. Refused to bench Perkins.
