It's amazing to the point where you actually expect this organization to fail every move that they make, what's next? Running John Wall outta town?

7mil per year for a coach who can't coach offense in a league where ball movement wins you championships, look at celtics, hawks, fukk it even pistons, they have coaches with offensive plan and they overachieve with the roster that they have.

Like is it so fukking hard to find a young coach from ncaa who has the plan? Shiiiit david blatt was still available.

It's not like they are attracting Durant by signing his former coach, the incompetitive front office is what's going to be huge NO for any superstar to join the wizards

Should've gone after Blatt

Seen some footage of his teams that actually ran his system and you see similarities to the Spurs and Warriors

:russ: It's cold blooded that Scott Brooks didn't even instantly accept that offer...Maybe the Wizards aren't that attractive of a a franchise...Maybe the dream of coaching Beal, Morris, Gortat led by Wall isn't as great as the teams fans will assume...

I like Brooks as a coach he seems to develope young players well I just don't know what the Wizards fans expected the franchise just isn't attractive....I really hope they don't think they are in play for KD or any other elite free agent (KD is the only elite).

Blatt or Van Gundy may have been good hires I kind of think Brooks is waiting on the Rockets.

Maybe he wants to see what Houston offers?

Here's the thing, Van Gundy, Blatt, Jackson, Thibs, Hornacek, etc have had their agents calling the Wizards

But Grunfeld, Tommy Shepard and Scott Brooks all have the same agent. Put that together breh.

This franchise is terrible. THEY DON'T EVEN RESPOND TO INQUIRIES FROM AGENTS FOR GOOD COACHES!!!

Ted Leonsis is blind. Its amazing given how well run the Capitals are.

Glenn Consor who does the Wizards radio color analyist is real good friends with Blatt. I should tweet at him to get Blatt an interview..

BUT WAIT...

Grunfeld only wants to interview people who have the same agent!!

Even still ...

Why not identify several candidates with some diversity of thought and experience? If it was me, I'd want to interview a guy like Brooks. But I'd also want to talk with a smart broadcaster type (like Kenny Smith). I'd want a guy I thought did a good job at a previous stop, and perhaps got prematurely axed -- like Monty Williams. I'd want to talk with someone like David Blatt. I'd want to talk with a few of the hungry young'uns who have been successful in the D-League -- like Jordi Fernandez, Casey Hill, Nate Bjorkgren, or Nevada Smith.

This front office seems to reach a conclusion before they've given much thought to the question.
