They are less than 200,000 from the limit :dwillhuh:

Yea, but being under the limit will not get you close to competing with the top teams. Trust me Ted Leonsis is not concerned about winning championships. Wait till the top players become free agents, you will never hear about The Wizards in the mix. I think the only reason he signed Wall is to have someone to blame when they don't get atleast to the 2nd or 3rd round, just like Ovechkin.

They're near the luxury tax but it's a temporary thing. Leonsis has said he doesn't want to ever exceed the tax but it'll be unavoidable down the line as they plan to target FAs in the coming years.

Signing Wall didn't make them lose any flexibility whatsoever. Wizards will be under the cap next summer assuming they don't pick up options on Singleton and Vesley... and don't tender the qualifying offers to Booker and Seraphin.

They'll be able to sign FAs... the problem is that Leonsis won't fire Ernie Grunfeld. The day Leonsis gets a new GM here will be the day you can say Washington is serious about contending for an O'Brien Trophy.

I can't find the thread, but I was arguing with a Laker fan about how Dc is a more attractive destination for free agents and they laughed at me :bryan:
Told them how Hobe was a cancer and nobody wanted to play with him.

And did anyone see the story on Kobe saying he would have joined the Wizards if Jordan stayed :wow:
Moving right along...
Courtdog jinxing the Wizards means that we'll get Wiggins or Randle or Parker to DC :lolbron:
:smugbiden:
Yall ain't making the playoffs and I'll bet my left nut yall aren't a top 5 seed let alone top 1-2.
Ben, your left testicle. I'm gonna need you to chop that off bruh bruh
We gonna win 45 games this year and make the 2nd round.
