In October, the only way the wiz were getting Monroe would have had to include Porter which was way too early for or Beal which I knew WAS wasn't doing.(But they might )


Detroit will still match any offer if he's not traded. 15mill range would be though.

Stop moving the goalposts. It wasn't based around at what might happen at that current time, it was about what would happen in the future + free agency.

Because that frontcourt won't be big enough for the three of them. This is the same shyt with the Durant/Westbrook/Harden situation. If Monroe doesn't get traded, he'll leave in free agency when a team throw the max at him.

If you think Smoove will improve his shot selection and decrease his TOs, you're in for a rude awakening before the end of the season.

I think 3 if I'm not mistaken. I know for sure i saw them when they played us (Heat) but also saw them play the Hawks because i wanted to see if Josh was gonna shyt on his former stans.

And before you get your panties in a bunch notice i didn't say he is worthy of a max contract. Just saying these GMs have been giving max contracts to everyone nowadays so Monroe getting the max wouldnt be that big of a stretch.

I can guarantee his comment was based more on the fact that You said he can be much better than Hibbert. Monroe will never have close to the defensive impact Hibbert has on a game, and offensively they're practically equals. In fact I would even say that Hibbert is the better offensive threat with the combination of his size and ability to at least take and make the occasional outside shot. He's just on a team where there are better offensive weapons so that isn't his focus.

With all that being said, if the best Joe can get for Monroe is wack ass Porter or very mediocre sf's like Ariza or Webster then he either need to give Monroe the max or beat it cause he's lost any ability to operate in his position with any sense of competency.

I never said he was better. I said he CAN be even better than Hibert. It's just that Monroe's athleticism makes him such a gem tho.
And Hibert doesn't have a jumpshot. Just a decent back to the basket game with short hooks around the rim that he developed the past few years. If Monroe could do the same and add the fact that he's more athletic than Hibert gives him a higher ceiling

why would they get jeff green? They already have ariza for a fraction of the price and drafted otto porter #3 this year.
