What are you talking about? Did you read the article?
Yall really need to stop with these dumbass "woulda coulda sholda" fantasies you concoct so you can blame the black person.
I've read more articles on this than were posted on the coli breh.
Nobody is blaming the black person.
The poster you quoted and myself are simply saying if you're going to engage with someone you go 100%.
This
They fought and the black man either didnt win or was just trying to get away. either way why the fukk would he keep fighting with someone who has a gun?
Is not a valid excuse.
Is it possible they fought and the white guy had better hands? Yes.
Is it possible the white guy had better hands to the point where the black guy knew he needed to retreat? Sure.
Distance is everything in an altercation. If you don't want smoke, you back the fukk up. If you are engaging you gotta close the distance and maintain control. Especially if someone has a firearm. As scary as it is you don't run from a gun. You gotta charge or tackle. People aren't firing from the hip. There's a certain form needed to accurately shoot a pistol or a long gun. If you close the distance there's a higher percentage that they miss completely, or don't get the shot off at all. That doesn't mean it's easier though. Close quarters combat with a pistol is never safe.
If you get him on the ground and are using your 2 hands on his single hand to try to remove the pistol you have a higher chance of winning the struggle.
Never ever turn your back on someone with a firearm. Its imperative to be able to see where the gunman of the shots are coming from so you know where to move to. In broad daylight you can see where he's aiming. If your are 15 ft away from someone with a gun and they are aiming at you, you can see whether you need to move left, right, duck, etc. If your back is toward them and you are peeking or looking over your shoulder basically you're hoping your back is going to catch all the bullets.
