this year the 2 best teams over the last few years The Lynx and the Sparks are playing in the opening rd basically if the cavs and warriors were playing again, this time in the 1st rd.

the Minnesota core 4 of Maya "GOAT" Moore, the reiging MVP and Miami native Slyvia Fowles and the vets Simone Augustus and the retiring Lyndsay Whalen. vs Candace Parker(best overall player in the league), former MVP Nneka Ogwumike, and the most clucth performer in the league Big shot Chelsea Gray.

these teams have a combined 4 former MVPs and FIVE finals MVPs.

in the other matchup you have the league leader in scoring. the woman that put 51 like a month ago and just put up 43pts last week Liz Cambage vs Brittney Griner

this is a hell of matchup with the Mercury having Diana taurasi(lot of folks thinks she's the #GOAT woman's player ever) and Griner a PG and C vs up and coming Skylar Diggins and Cambage another PG/Big combo.

I hope the Lynx get one last ring with this group, but like someone said about this team, "experienced" turned into "old." Just doesn't feel like it's their year.

As for Cambage, ain't no way she's coming back after what she said about the league and $$$, so if they're down big early, she'll be disengaged.
