1st 3 minutes you see shaq being doubled and foul and a foul on the other end.

No, people are tuning into to see their favorite players make a bunch of highlight plays.

The all-star game is geared towards kids and casuals. They're more interested in LeBron catching lobs and Curry pulling up for deep 3 pointers than ball movement or zone defense being played

I agree wholeheartedly with the OP. That was the worst All-Star game I've watched.

I kept waiting for them to turn it up and get halfway serious in the 2nd half like past years, but it never happened.

If Kobe wasn't retiring this year, he would have never allowed that shyt to happen.

There wasn't even really any spectacular dunks. Game was a complete waste of time.

I agree fans do wanna see that...but not for four straight quarters...real basketball heads watch too...when magic hit that three when he came back after his diagnosis, the hooplah was because it was somewhat of a competitive back n forth between east and west and he decided to go off a bit...they did play A LITTLE real ball before. This is just a 4qtr layup line.
