Big E's is one of the worst ones recently.

These new finishers take too much setting up. Too many of them have the person doing it holding the other person for a unrealistic amount of time. They need more out of nowhere finishers like the Stunner, Rock Bottom, Diamond Cutter, Sweet Chin Music.

Hogan's Leg Drop/Warrior Body Splash: I know it was a different time and all, but these were mega weak

Twist of Fate: Just a diamond cutter with a set up.

The Eye of the Hurricane: Why did this move hurt again?

And not "worst", and I know I'm begging for a neg here ...

.... But let's keep it 100, the Stone Cold Stunner involves putting someone's head on his shoulder and sitting down. When I first started watching I didn't even understand how the move worked, ie how dudes who get clotheslined/powerslammed were supposed to get KO'd by that. Even the People's Elbow looks like it hurts more.

I'll keep it 3Hunna Hearst Helmsley: whenever we were at lunch and doing wrestling moves on each other when I was a kid I always sandbagged anyone who tried to give me a stunner cause I'm an a$$hole

See you went too far.. It's a good looking original move that to this day no one else does.. You can't hate that, saying it doesn't hurt is one thing but worst all time is ridiculous

Zig-Zag is :trash:

Anybody hating on the powerbomb probably ain't never been powerbombed. Shyt hurts.

@BlackAchilles The "idea" behind the stunner is the attacker jamming his shoulder into the opponent's throat. But trying that in the real world? I never understood it that much either.

But I'll take a strike over most anything else in terms of finisher legitimacy.

That F-5, tho...:blessed:

Any wrestling move is dumb and shouldnt take someone out, except submissions, if you think about it too much. They'd either be dead/paralyzed if it was real (tombstone), opponent would just block/wiggle out of it (GTS), or its not enough to have you lose your match (spear, etc). People naming the Stunner, youre thinking about it too much, go watch UFC. With that said, Peoples Elbow and 5 Knucke Shuffle are fukking stupid. Same with the F-U, and anything Miz does cause nobody is losing a fight to Mike from Road Rules in real life.

And any variation of this:

ZigZag and non-leaping versions included. Ironically I think RTruth uses the move nowadays.

Edit: I believe MVP used it also. Must be one of the go to minority wrestler moves:ohhh:

The 'Bo-dog' is :dead:'Scorpion Death Drop' was :beli:

People won't admit it because as a whole, we love dude, but The Rock's 'Peoples Elbow' was only dope because of the theatrics beforehand. That spinebuster followed by the elbow pad toss :wow: Nothing but an elbow drop with a little dance attached to it, but he was ultimate showman so everyone will always be :krs: Same for Hogan. They're the only two who could get away with basic finishers like that because of how huge their personalities and the lead up to those finishes were.

With the people's elbow, I always thought the idea was that the spinebuster was the real knockout blow, and the people's elbow was just the icing on the cake.

Speaking of which, the spinebuster has to be one of the GOAT wrestling moves of any variety. It was simple an effective, and lowkey I could a 100% stiff spinebuster actually killing somebody.

a 7 ft 500 lb guy punching you square in the face makes sense

a dude giving you a straight elbow to the jaw makes sense [the original way he did it was better imo]

but the woat goes to the Worm
